Want to hike while in LA? This trail is only 10 mi Want to hike while in LA? This trail is only 10 min drive from the Sheraton Universal Hotel. You can even see the hotel from this trail. It’s the tall building on the left. And yes after taking the picture on the bench, I didn’t realize how it made me look like little kid! Lol 😂

Solocano Faigao #faigaofriday Today is about Sol Solocano Faigao #faigaofriday Today is about Solocano Faigao, son of Pedro Faigao and Irenia Fabregas. He is part of the Cayetano Clan and one of the first people to start the Ugat Faigao Reunions. The reunion came about during a tournament of chess. When the late Solocano won against Ish Fabicon, they discussed about forming the Emmanuel Clan. Then the first ever Ugat Faigao Reunion occurred in 1982 in Elmhurst,Illinois. Solocano received the award of the Most outstanding municipal treasurer of the Philippines from President Magsaysay in Manila. After the year 1964, Solocano and his wife, Damiana Farao Faigao, had a total of 13 children. The children later on all lived and worked in the United States at some point. They even had their own families there and to this day, Solocano and Damiana have more than 20 grandchildren and more than 10 great grandchildren.
